Discover who rules the world of music entertainment in South Korea! The Korean Institute of Business Research has just unveiled the latest brand reputation ranking for male idol groups this month.
These rankings were compiled through a meticulous analysis of consumer engagement, media coverage, interaction, and community indicators from various boy groups. A comprehensive dataset collected from July 12th to August 12th was used.
It’s no surprise that BTS takes the lead on the list for an impressive 63rd consecutive month. They’ve secured an astonishing brand reputation index of 6,543,983. Highlighted phrases in their keyword analysis include “Jungkook,” “V,” and “photocard.” In related terms, words like “recording,” “release,” and “enlistment” stand out. The group has also proven to be a source of positivity, with a high 85.11% positive reaction rate.
SEVENTEEN, on the other hand, clinched the second spot in the ranking, with a brand reputation index of 4,944,749, reflecting an impressive 10.10% increase compared to July.
EXO, in turn, has risen to the third place after experiencing an astonishing 145.77% increase in their brand reputation index, bringing their total score for August to 4,572,081.
Meanwhile, INFINITE has achieved a remarkable leap to the fourth place, thanks to an astonishing 539.88% increase in their own brand reputation index since July. The group has garnered a total score for the month of 3,480,732.
To complete the top five for August, the project group “Boys Planet” ZEROBASEONE has secured a brand reputation index of 2,459,420.
