In a recent revelation, YG Entertainment, the former record label of Big Bang’s star, G-Dragon, has issued a response regarding the drug allegations surrounding the artist.
As previously reported, G-Dragon was identified as the celebrity involved in Lee Sun Gyun’s drug controversy. Following this news, media outlets sought YG Entertainment’s stance on the drug allegations against G-Dragon. In response, YG Entertainment stated:
“It’s challenging to provide an official response as he is no longer an artist under our company.”
G-Dragon’s exclusive contract with YG Entertainment concluded this past June.
Following the drug investigation involving actor Lee Sun Gyun, the police, through additional inquiries, identified G-Dragon as part of the same case. Subsequently, the Incheon Metropolitan Police booked him without detention on charges related to the Narcotics Control Act.
Law enforcement authorities have commented on the matter, stating:
“It’s an ongoing investigation, so we cannot disclose details.”
